Ingredients
  

  • 1 (6-ounce) box Red Gelatin (Strawberry or Cherry)
  • 1 (6-ounce) box Green Gelatin (Lime or Green Apple)
  • 4 envelopes Unflavored Gelatin (0.25-ounce each)
  • 1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • Approximately 6 cups Hot Water (divided)
  • Approximately 3 cups Cold Water (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Red Layer: Dissolve red gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water.
  2. Cool the Red Layer: Mix in 1 cup of cold water and pour it into the dish.
  3. Chill the First Layer: Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes until slightly sticky.
  4. Prepare the Creamy White Layer: Bloom unflavored gelatin in cold water then dissolve in boiling water. Mix with sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Cool the White Layer: Let it reach room temperature before pouring over the red layer.
  6. Chill the Second Layer: Refrigerate for another 30-45 minutes.
  7. Prepare the Green Layer: Dissolve green gelatin in boiling water.
  8. Cool the Green Layer: Mix in cold water and cool to room temperature.
  9. Add the Green Layer: Pour over the white layer gently.
  10. Final Chill: Refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight to set completely.
  11. Serve: Loosen edges with a knife and serve.

Notes

Ensure to cool each layer to room temperature before adding the next to prevent mixing. Store in the refrigerator and enjoy within 3-5 days.
