Preparation
- Preheat oven to 375°F and spray a 12-cup muffin tin with cooking spray.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground hamburger.
- Add garlic powder, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and frozen vegetables to the browned beef, heating thoroughly. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and use a 3-inch biscuit cutter to cut out 12 circles.
- Press one crescent roll circle into each muffin cup, shaping it up the sides.
- Spoon 1-2 tablespoons of the beef and vegetable mixture into each muffin cup.
- Top each with about 1/3 cup of mashed potatoes, using a piping bag with a large tip for a decorative finish if desired.
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden brown, then cool slightly before serving, garnished with chopped parsley.
Notes
You can use a piping bag for a neater mashed potato topping. Allow the mini pies to cool slightly before serving for easier handling. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
