Method
- Thoroughly wash and dry the head of cauliflower. Cut it into uniform, bite-sized florets.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper until smooth.
- Add cauliflower florets to the batter and toss until evenly coated.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) or oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper and a wire rack sprayed with cooking spray.
- Arrange coated cauliflower in a single layer and air fry for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, or bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway.
- While cooking, melt butter in a small saucepan, then stir in buffalo sauce, apple cider vinegar, and optional maple syrup until smooth.
- Once cooked, toss cauliflower in the buffalo sauce and serve immediately with desired dipping sauces and vegetable sticks.
Notes
Ensure cauliflower is dry before battering to achieve maximum crispiness. Cook in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
