  • ¼ cup cold water or juice (to bloom)
  • ¾ cup hot water (or brewed coffee/tea)
Optional flavor add-ins
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1–2 tsp fresh lemon juice or apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup fruit puree (strawberry, mango, blueberry, etc.)

Equipment

  • Measuring spoons/cups
  • Bowl
  • Whisk or Spoon
  • Silicone molds or shallow dish
  • airtight container

Method

Preparation
  1. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water or juice and let it bloom for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Pour hot water over the bloomed gelatin and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Incorporate any optional flavor additions like honey, lemon juice, fruit puree, or coffee, mixing thoroughly.
Serving Options & Storage
  1. To create cubes, pour the mixture into silicone molds or a shallow dish and chill for 2–4 hours until firm.
  2. Alternatively, enjoy the mixture as a warm or chilled drink immediately after mixing.
  3. Store any prepared gelatin cubes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.

Notes

Ensure the gelatin is fully bloomed in cold liquid before adding hot liquid to prevent lumps. For best results, allow ample chilling time until completely firm. Cubes can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days.
