Ingredients

Base
  • 1 small banana, sliced and frozen
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened coconut water
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened soy or chickpea milk
Greens and Flavor
  • 2 cups fresh baby spinach
  • 1 sprig fresh mint
  • 2 tsp matcha powder
Boost
  • 1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder
  • 1 scoop creatine
  • 1 capful Sunwarrior Liquid Light

Method

  1. Gather all the ingredients. Ensure the banana is pre-sliced and frozen for thickness and chill without ice.
  2. Add the frozen banana, spinach, coconut water, plant-based milk, protein powder, creatine, Liquid Light, matcha, and mint to a blender. Add liquids first for easier blending.
  3. Blend on low, then high until smooth. If too thick, add a bit more coconut water or milk.
  4. Taste and adjust: for more sweetness, add a date or dash of maple syrup; for tang, add lemon or lime juice.
  5. Pour into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with mint or a sprinkle of matcha if desired.

Notes

You can store this smoothie in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Shake before drinking if separation occurs. It's also a great hydrating option when you're recovering from illness.
