Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ scoop (approximately 15g) vanilla protein powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • ¼ cup buttermilk
  • 1-2 teaspoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Prepare Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, protein powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugars: In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Beat in the egg, then gradually add the buttermilk, red food coloring, and vinegar. Mix until incorporated.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the white chocolate chips.
  6. Chill the Dough: Cover the dough and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  8. Scoop and Bake: Drop rounded balls of dough onto prepared baking sheets, leaving space between each.
  9. Bake: Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set. Do not overbake.
  10. Cool: Let cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.

Notes

Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature for best results. Chill the dough for better cookie texture and flavor.
