Ingredients

  • 4 boxes (3 oz each) flavored gelatin (e.g., strawberry, lime, lemon, grape)
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 envelopes (0.25 oz each) unflavored gelati
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 cup hot water
  • Cooking spray

Method

  1. Prepare the pan by lightly coating a 9x13 inch baking dish or bundt pan with cooking spray.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine 1 box of flavored gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water and whisk until dissolved. Pour into the prepared pan and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until set but still slightly sticky.
  3. Sprinkle the unflavored gelatin over 1 cup of cold water in a small bowl and let it sit for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Bring 1 cup of hot water to a boil and pour it over the bloomed unflavored gelatin. Whisk until clear, then stir in the can of sweetened condensed milk and divide evenly into three bowls.
  5. Once the first gelatin layer is set, gently pour one-third of the creamy mixture over it and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes until set.
  6. Combine a second box of flavored gelatin with 1 cup of boiling water, whisk until dissolved, then allow to cool slightly before pouring over the creamy layer. Refrigerate for another 20-30 minutes.
  7. Repeat the previous steps until all layers are complete, alternating flavored gelatin and creamy layers. Ensure each layer is set before adding the next.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4-6 hours or overnight to firm up.
  9. Once set, run a thin knife around the edges and invert onto a serving platter or slice and serve from the baking dish.

Notes

Ensure correct set time for each layer to avoid bleeding n Allow gelatin to cool to room temperature before layering n Use gentle pouring techniques for distinct layers
