Ingredients

Base
  • 1 brown rice cake
  • 1 tbsp natural creamy almond butter
Protein Boost
  • 1 tsp chia seeds freshly crushed

Method

  1. Place the brown rice cake flat on a plate to create a steady base.
  2. Use a spoon to spread the almond butter evenly across the surface. Press gently to avoid cracking the rice cake.
  3. Crush the chia seeds using the back of a spoon or a spice grinder to release more texture and nutrition.
  4. Sprinkle the crushed chia seeds evenly over the almond butter layer, covering the full surface for maximum benefit.
  5. Serve immediately for the best crunch, or store in the fridge for a quick grab-and-go snack later in the day.

Notes

You can substitute almond butter with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version. Use flavored rice cakes for a twist, but check for added sugars.
