- Pour 1 cup of the fruit juice into a medium mixing bowl.
- Sprinkle the gelatin powder evenly over the juice and let it sit for 5 minutes to bloom.
- Meanwhile, heat the remaining 1 cup of fruit juice in a small saucepan over medium heat until it is steaming but not boiling.
- Pour the hot juice into the bowl with the bloomed gelatin and stir well until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
- If desired, add honey or maple syrup for sweetness and stir to combine.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then pour it into a glass dish, silicone molds, or individual serving cups.
- If using fresh fruit, gently place the fruit into the gelatin mixture before it sets.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set.
- Once firm, cut into cubes or shapes as desired and serve.
Notes
For best results, use high-quality fruit juice without added sugar. You can experiment with different fruit combinations for unique flavors.
