Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 1 scoop high-quality vanilla protein powder
  • 2 Medjool dates, pitted (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamo
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional garnishes: sprinkle of cinnamon, star anise pod, or sugar-free whipped cream

Method
 

  1. Warm the milk and spices in a small saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming.
  2. Transfer the warmed mixture to a high-speed blender.
  3. Add protein powder, Medjool dates (if using), and vanilla extract to the blender.
  4. Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or spices as desired, then blend again.
  6. Pour into a mug and garnish, enjoy while warm.

Notes

This drink can be customized with different milk alternatives or sweeteners. It can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator.
