Ingredients
  

  • 4 (3-ounce) packages flavored gelatin (strawberry, orange, lime, grape, or any colors you prefer)
  • 4 cups boiling water (1 cup per gelatin flavor)
  • 4 cups cold water (1 cup per gelatin flavor)
  • 2 (0.25-ounce) packages unflavored gelatin powder
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12-ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: Fresh berries or mint leaves for decoratio

Method
 

  1. Dissolve each packet of flavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water in separate bowls; stir until dissolved.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water to each bowl and stir to combine; pour each flavor into shallow dishes, ensuring a thickness of 1/2 to 1 inch.
  3. Refrigerate for 3-4 hours until firm; then cut into small uniform cubes.
  4. In a saucepan, bloom unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of cold water for 5 minutes; heat until dissolved.
  5. In a bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, vanilla, and salt; mix well.
  6. Whisk in the dissolved unflavored gelatin mixture until smooth.
  7. Layer the colored gelatin cubes in a mold and pour the creamy layer over them.
  8. Chill for at least 6-8 hours until fully set, preferably overnight.
  9. Unmold by running a knife around the edges and dipping in warm water; invert onto a plate and garnish as desired.

Notes

Ensure thorough setting of colored layers for clean cuts and aesthetics. Store leftover gelatin refrigerated and serve chilled.
