Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 scoop unflavored collagen peptides
  • 1-2 tablespoons erythritol or monk fruit sweetener
  • 1 cup cold filtered water or coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Wash the strawberries and hull them. Wash the basil leaves and pat dry.
  2. Add the strawberries, basil, collagen peptides, sweetener, lemon juice, and water or coconut water to a blender.
  3. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness as preferred.
  5. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve for an ultra-smooth texture (optional).
  6. Serve immediately over ice, garnished with a basil leaf or strawberry slice if desired.

Notes

This drink is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for 24-48 hours. Shake well before serving.
