Ingredients

  • 1 cup Honey or Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Dijon Mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Score the surface of the ham in a diamond pattern.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine honey (or maple syrup), Dijon mustard, and apple cider vinegar. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Gently heat the glaze over medium-low heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly thinned.
  4. Roast the ham for about 15-20 minutes per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F (54°C). Brush the ham with glaze during the last 30-45 minutes.
  5. Continue glazing every 10-15 minutes until the ham reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
  6. Let the ham rest for 15-20 minutes before carving.

Notes

Cool leftover ham promptly and store in an airtight container. Resting the ham after cooking ensures juiciness.
